I believe we won the Silver Davey award for the new KPTMC website because it is beautiful and so easy for Kenai Peninsula staff to operate. It's (fairly easy) to design the look and feel of something better than before, particularly when your clients are good at communicating. This website not only manages KPTMC membership info, it also does the extremely tedious task of downloading and consolidating the latest and greatest content to a single document KPTMC can send to a publisher to create the annual visitor's guide, this one feature alone is a labor saving miracle that allows staff members with limited time already, to prioritize their time improving services for members, instead of doing tedious and complex data entry. All content on the website is as easy to swap and change as dragging and dropping, or checking a box, and is optimized across all browsers and devices. This was a masterpiece, almost 4 months in development and really showcases the kinds of complex, web-programming problems we can solve here at C3.
